Before September 11, New York was my nemesis: a loud, sweaty, busy place that was difficult to navigate and worst of all, full of Yankees fans. I could only take it in infrequent doses.
My feelings about New York shattered after September 11, and I knew I had to venture back to the city and give it another try…and then another…and another. This is what I discovered.
